SOURCE ⚔ About ♚ NAME: Mòrag Ladair ♚ CANON: Xenoblade Chronicles 2 ♚ AGE: 25 ♚ SPECIES: Human (Ardainian) ⚔ First Impressions ♚ VISUAL: reference. without her cap she stands at roughly 5 ft 9 in*. keeps her shoulders back and head up; good posture is important and all. she's noted to be attractive but appears rather androgynous at a first glance— she gets mistaken for a man at times, and other characters are certainly free to do the same (though she won't react very kindly). without the regalia she's unmistakably a woman, however. Mòrag's physique is toned and muscular from years of military training, this is not debatable!! ♚ FASHION: a man's uniform, as it comes with the job. tends to wear plain unisex clothing outside of that (collared button-up shirts, slacks, etc). she prefers practicality over style, but she does pay attention to aesthetic. ♚ DEMEANOUR: serious........ very serious. she's really kind of a stick in the mud, and even admits that she's not very good with smalltalk. as a soldier dedicated to her work she usually comes off as cold and distant but polite, but once she warms up to someone she's considerably more relaxed and open to casual conversation. beneath the stern, seemingly apathetic exterior is someone who's genuinely compassionate and even gentle. but awkward. she has a horrible sense of humor. she's only charming when she isn't trying. ♚ SOUND: Kirsty Mitchell!! voice clips / cutscene. she has a noticeable Scottish (Glaswegian!) accent and generally speaks in a calm, even-paced drawl. ♚ SCENT: clean. maybe a subtle perfume when she's off-duty. she keeps herself very well-groomed, regardless. ♚ MENTAL INFORMATION: nothing out of the ordinary to note ♚ MAGICAL INFORMATION: she's bonded with a woman (a Blade) named Brighid who serves as her source of firepower. Mòrag's signature weapons, twin rapiers that can turn into whips, are powered by Brighid's ether. Drivers and Blades are said to have a deep connection (metaphorically "one in body and soul"), but they’re not totally dependent on each other to be capable in a fight. while Mòrag and Brighid are both strong enough that they can work separately if they choose to, their strength is at its fullest when they fight together. Mòrag's physical capabilities, particularly her agility, are greatly enhanced when she's with Brighid. without Brighid, she's just a regular human. Aegaeon technically isn't a canonical story Blade for Mòrag since you can play through the game without ever resonating with him, but i go with the assumption that he is her secondary Blade. ⚔ OOC ♚ BACKTAGGING: i'll usually backtag up to 2 or 3 months, or longer if it's smut or something plot-important. for memes/psls i don't mind backtagging indefinitely as long as the other person is still interested. sometimes i miss tags tho, please feel free to poke me if i haven't responded in a while! ♚ FOURTHWALLING: meta jokes in brackets are totally fine, directly telling Mòrag she's from a shitty video game is a hard no. ♚ THREADJACKING: ask first, i'll likely be cool with it! ♚ PHYSICAL AFFECTION: sure but she’ll rarely, if not never, be the initiator. her reaction will vary between very put off or quietly awkward, depending on how comfortable she is with the other person. ♚ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: yes ofc. she's hyped up to be Ultra Powerful in canon, but in a game setting without Brighid she's nowhere near invincible. just hmu in PMs or discord to hash out details. note that she's the type of person to hit first and ask questions later though, if you wanna provoke her. ♚ RELATIONSHIPS: i play Mòrag as a lesbian. for in-game purposes, i headcanon that she has had a history of previous girlfriends and sexual partners before she became Special Inquisitor, so she's not a virgin. i also play her with latent romantic feelings for Brighid, as an fyi, so romantically pairing her off with anyone else in a game setting is extremely unlikely (Mòrag would claim she's not interested in getting into a relationship anyway). for memes/psls it's a free for all tho. ♚ WARNINGS: don't think there should be anything worth warning for in regards to Mòrag. i don't have any squicks myself. ♚ KINKS: f-list. as a quick note, she won't feel comfortable sleeping with anyone who isn't an adult both physically and mentally, so 18+ characters only for smut. *the artbook's character height chart is inaccurate, mòrag should be 5 ft 8 or 9 in if you compare her to shulk in-game (shulk is 5'6) GET CODE HERE
